get us out of here
3 long years
living up a flight of stairs.
i guess i'm lucky
that i'm not in residential care.
lack of housing and support's
why we're up here
and we're in there.
we need homes of our own.
what's that thing?
they call it a community.
a place where there's no place
for you and me.
except for special clubs,
care homes and hospitals,
there's not much left
that's safe and accessible.
i wrote to the housing director
i wrote to the head of care
i wrote to my MP
and said GET US OUT OF HERE.
so the medical team say
they will give me what i want.
but they've got no properties,
so they know they can't.
in january my local housing office
closes down.
i'm moving in
and they won't get me out.
i'm bringing all my friends,
they are bringing sleeping bags.
we're gonna show the press
why the council's crap.
