you rhyme in riddles you don't understand,
an expect-able excuse from a power hungry man.
all we are doing is what we can -
do you find this a threat?
don't you want our wings to grow?
do you know all there is to know?
by sharing both ways, we will grow -
do you find this a threat?
poems do not have to rhyme,
to write them we don't have to write.
it's just a thought frozen in time -
do you find this a threat?
we're finding our voices, our choices, our truths,
which part of that worries you?
(it sometimes means we'll challenge you)
