DO NOT send faxes 'copied & pasted' from elsewhere. MPs WILL THROW THESE AWAY. Use your own words, it's much more effective. Worse, if MPs get swamped with Spam faxes, they will ignore all faxes sent from this site. Dear [insert name here!], This is not a sob story, agitation or a begging letter, I need someone to make a commitment to real political change. [stuff about personal circumstances, my inaccessible home, etc] Some of my friends from DAN (Disabled people's direct action network) who can get out that day are coming to London on 22nd Dec to show the government how disabled people feel about the local and national crisis facing us and forcing many who have no-one to help them into nursing homes. DAN will be bringing ideas how to move forward written by disabled people, and my full support. I know maybe direct action is seen as extreme, and I don't know what DAN will do, but if you lived our lives for the last few years you'd think nothing was going too far, how else would people get the stage when they send an email full of demoralising information about their life to a stranger? I am asking please, is there any way you as our MP can support my family and Disabled people nationally and locally? thanks for your consideration and any ideas or support you can offer.
