Mary & Jodie - lives more important than most. Mary and Jodie are not, as labelled, "futile lives", they are probably two of the most important children to have ever lived in the UK. They have made history, lets hope it’s history we can be proud of. The life of any person in the who lives long enough to become disabled may now depend on Mary's. A Court of Appeal ruling which makes killing baby Mary lawful, when Mary & Jodie’s lives are not believed to be in immediate danger, based on impossible, subjective predictions of quality and length of conjoined life, undermines their human rights and is likely to lead to further legalised killing of disabled children and adults.
